Warrant Arrests

A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday, the individual attended the Elgin County Courthouse to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Assault Cause Bodily Harm, stemming from an incident in July. The 29 year old was processed and later released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25017504/13553

A 19 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failing to Comply with their court ordered probation. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST25017549

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday evening, the London Police Service notified us that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threats and Failure to Comply with Release in relation to an incident in August of 2023. Custody was exchanged and the 42 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25017564

Vehicle EntriesĀ 

A vehicle parked on Wellington Street has been reported entered. On Thursday, police received an online report of the incident that occurred on the 23rd of September. A baby monitor valued at $100 was stolen. Video is available and being provided to police. ST25017531

A vehicle parked on Gladstone Avenue has been reported entered. On Thursday, the owner of the vehicle contacted police to report the incident that occurred Wednesday night. Reported stolen was a dash cam and vehicle registration documents. This remains under investigation. ST25017535

Theft

A cell phone valued at $1,000 has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday, staff contacted police to report the incident that occurred on September 18th. Video is available and being provided to police. ST25017515

$30 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a pharmacy on Talbot Street. On Thursday, police were called to the store by staff who had video of the incident that occurred on September 18th. This remains under investigation. ST25017525

While at the pharmacy, a second incident was reported to police. On September 19th, video captures an individual leaving the store without paying for their items. This remains under investigation. ST25017527
