Commercial break and enter 

On Thursday May 25th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a retail store on First Avenue to investigate a break and enter that had occurred just before 5 a.m. Through investigation, STPS confirmed an unknown person wearing dark pants, a black sweater with white writing, a blue face mask and white gloves entered the building and removed a quantity of jewelry before leaving the area. Police are reviewing video surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23008895

Arrested

A 37 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for failing to comply with their release order, attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on Thursday May 25th, 2023. The resident was taken into custody and processed for court, later released by the courts on an undertaking. ST23008883/ST23008912

Stolen bikes 

On Thursday May 25th, 2023 St. Thomas Police were called to investigate after a parent reports their kids two bicycles were stolen sometime between 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm from the gully on Palm Street while the kids were by the creek. The bikes are described as a brown BMX with green rims and a black Trek bike with shocks. ST23008941

Residential break and enter

St. Thomas Police are investigating a residential break and enter. At approximately 10:15 p.m. the tenant of Station Street residence reports being woken up by two unknown parties who were in the apartment stealing a TV and PS4. The suspects are described as average build, wearing jeans and black sweaters. No injuries or damages were reported. Police are reviewing video surveillance to identify the unknown suspects.
