Warrant Arrests

A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday June 6th 2024, STPS were called to a disturbance at a residence on the west side of the city. While dealing with the individuals, officers became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service stemming from a shoplifting incident in May. The 27 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24009490

A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Friday June 7th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible for a shoplifting incident at a business downtown, last week. The 28 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24009502

Today, members of the St. Thomas Police Service will be set up at our downtown office with a LemonAID stand as apart of an initiative created by Doug Tarry Homes in support of the Elgin Children’s Foundation sending kids of Family & Children Services to camp this summer!
