Theft Investigations

St. Thomas police have charged a 31 year old St. Thomas woman with Theft after it was reported she had stolen her roommates debit card and made a total of $400 in unauthorized purchases. A warrant for her arrest has been requested. ST26012439

$250 of men’s clothing has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday afternoon, police were called to the area for the report of an unknown male, failing to pay for his items. Video has been provided to police. ST26012441

A 42 year old St.Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday evening while on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 stemming from a shoplifting incident in June. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26012474/11175

Disturbance Leads to Trespass 

A 41 year old has been served a trespass notice after a disturbance at a retail store on Talbot Street, Thursday. Police were called to attend the store after the individual had been arguing with staff and ultimately threw items in the store. No damage and no injuries were reported. ST26012469

Bail Violations 

A 34 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order. On Thursday evening, police attended a northside address on an unrelated call for service and learned the accused had been at the address of an individual he is currently on release conditions to not communicate with. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26012479
