Intimate Partner Violence – Arrest

A 36 year old St. Thomas man charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon, one count of Possession of a Prohibited Device and one count of Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent in relation to an incident on Wednesday morning, has been arrested. On Thursday, the accused was located and taken into custody. The man was processed at police headquarters and transported to court. He was been remanded into custody. ST25022059/21917

Intimate Partner Violence

A 59 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with one count of Assault and one count of Mischief after an incident in the city last night. Just after 8:00 p.m. officers were called to an address on the southside of the city to investigate the report of an altercation between spouses. Through investigation, police learned a verbal argument had turned physical and damage had been caused to the residence. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST25022082

Warrant Arrest

A 48 year old St. Thomas woman, wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident has been arrested. On Thursday evening, officers on community patrol located the accused who was processed and later released on an appearance notice. ST25022083/12252

Break and Enter Investigation

An office building on First Avenue has been damaged in a break and enter incident that occurred early, Thursday morning. Just before 8 a.m. officers were called to the building after employees arriving for work observed significant damage to the office. Several rooms within in the building had been rummaged through. An investigation into what was stolen and the value is ongoing. CCTV is available and has been provided to police. This remains under investigation. ST25022038

Theft

$100 of clothing has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown man failing to pay for the items. Video is available and has been provided to police. ST25022044

Mischief

A building on the westside of the city has been reported damaged by graffiti. On Thursday evening, police were called to the address to investigate the report of the building being defaced with spray paint. This remains under investigation. ST25022092
