Theft

A 38 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged with Theft under $5,000 after police were called to a grocery store on Talbot Street, Thursday afternoon. The individual was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24022826

A vehicle, parked at an address on South Edgeware Road was entered in the overnight hours. Loose change was reported stolen. No damage to the vehicle was reported. ST24022812

An Amazon package valued at $60.00 has been reported stolen from an address on Elysian Street.  A ring cam captured the incident and is being reviewed by police. ST24022834

Fraud

St. Thomas police were contacted on Thursday after a local business was made aware of a fraudulent transaction. It was reported that the business received an invoice from a known vendor and paid it in full, only to learn it was a phishing email with the fraudster posing as the trusted vendor. The business is out approximately $10,000. This remains under investigation. ST24022829
