Sexual Assault Arrest

A 22 year old London man has been arrested. On Thursday, officers attended the London Police Service to take custody of the individual who was charged with one count of Sexual Assault, following an investigation from an incident that occurred in St. Thomas last week. The accused was transported to STPS Headquarters where he was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25022427/2276

Bail Violation

A 21 year old London man has been arrested following a traffic stop in the city early Friday morning. At 2:30 a.m. officers on community patrol initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle, after observing highway traffic act offences. The driver was spoken to and identified as the 21 year old accused. Officers learned the individual is currently on release conditions to not communicate with several people, including the passenger in the vehicle with him. As a result, he was charged with one count of Failure to Comply with Undertaking and transported to police headquarters to be processed. The individual was held for a morning court appearance. Break and Enter Investigation

Several electronics and personal property have been reported stolen from an residential address on the southside of the city. On Thursday evening, police were called to the address after an alert from the interior camera, notified the resident that someone had entered. The camera was located by the suspect and ultimately moved preventing any further video to be captured. Police attended and cleared the residence, with no one located inside. This remains under investigation. ST25022457

Mischief 

Damage to a vehicle parked on Highview Drive has been reported to police. On Thursday, the owner of the vehicle contacted police to report it had been keyed. This remains under investigation. ST25022458

Theft

A quantity of beer has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for the items. Video is available and being provided to police. ST25022418

A local resident has reported that several of their electronics have been stolen. On Thursday, it was reported that the items had been taken from a downtown apartment building. CCTV is available and being reviewed by police. ST25022425

Porch Pirates 

A package from an Erie Street address has been reported stolen. On Thursday, the homeowner contacted police to report their door bell camera had captured an unknown individual take the package, valued at $50. The video has been provided to police. ST25022454

A package from an address on Confederation Drive has been reported stolen. On Thursday, police were contacted in regards to the theft that occurred on November 21st after 2 p.m. Total value of the package is $120. This remains under investigation. ST25022443
