St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of damage to an ATM at a bank on Talbot Street. On Thursday April 4th 2024, officers were called by bank staff who wished to report the damage that occurred on April 1st. A review of the video surveillance showed an unknown person attend the ATM and smash the screen. This remains under investigation. ST24005231
$1,000 in damages to a vehicle has been reported to police. On Thursday April 4th 2024, police were called by the vehicle owner who wished to report that one of the tires of their pickup truck, had been slashed sometime in the overnight hours. Officers attended an address on the northside of the city where the owner had parked their vehicle overnight. This remains under investigation. ST24005283
Motor vehicle collision
No injuries were reported after a vehicle collided with a store front just before 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Upon arrival, police learned that while entering a parking spot, the driver’s foot slipped causing the vehicle to accelerate into the store front. The driver and employees of the store were assessed on site by EMS and the vehicle was towed. ST24005287
