Trespassing

A 40-year-old female and a 41-year-old male have been charged with trespassing and issued summonses to appear in provincial offences court. On Saturday morning, officers found both individuals had returned to a city park they were ordered to vacate the previous day. Support continues to be offered to both parties through Street Outreach and the Community Response Unit. Incident # ST25019620

Warrant Arrest

A 14-year-old was arrested Saturday night by Aylmer Police on two counts of Theft Under $5000, stemming from separate shoplifting incidents. The youth was released with a future court date. Incident # ST25019657

Intimate Partner Violence

Shortly after midnight, police responded to a residential area following reports of a female assaulted by her partner. The victim fled the residence and received assistance from bystanders who contacted police. Based on the investigation, officers have reasonable grounds to charge a 44-year-old male with Assault Causing Bodily Harm – Choking, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats to Cause Death, Mischief Under $5000, and two counts of Failing to Comply with Probation. The accused remains outstanding, and a warrant is being sought. Incident # ST25019664

R.I.D.E Program

Nightshift officers conducted a R.I.D.E. program last night and are pleased to report that all drivers stopped were sober. Incident # ST25019667
