Assault

A female was arrested for assault on Saturday evening following an altercation in a parking lot on Talbot Street. The incident unfolded when the accused spotted her ex-partner with his new girlfriend and confronted her, ultimately striking her in the face. Police responded to the scene and took the accused into custody without incident. She was transported to police headquarters and later released on an Undertaking with conditions. ST25007821

In the early hours of Sunday morning, police were called to a downtown address regarding reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers located a male who alleged he had been assaulted by another male. All involved parties were intoxicated at the time. Police are currently reviewing video footage as part of the ongoing investigation. ST25007843

Warrant Arrests

On Saturday afternoon, a 29-year-old man was arrested on an unendorsed bench warrant in connection to four incidents involving charges of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault, Utter Threats to Cause Death, and Failure to Comply with Probation and Undertaking. Later that evening, police conducting general patrol observed a 29-year-old male known to be wanted. A query confirmed he was subject to three endorsed warrants. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to police headquarters, where he was later released with a scheduled court date. ST25007837

Fraud

A St. Thomas resident has fallen victim to an online scam, losing $90 after sending an e-transfer for event tickets that were never received. Despite the transaction being completed, the seller failed to provide the promised tickets. ST25007792

Harassment and Bail Violations

Police have reasonable grounds to arrest and charge a 48-year-old woman in connection with a harassment investigation. She is already facing charges related to harassment against the victim and remains bound by conditions prohibiting contact with them. However, due to continued harassment, she now faces additional charges of Harassing Communications and Failure to Comply with a Release Order. Police are seeking a warrant for her arrest. ST25007800
