Bail Violations
On Friday morning, police were alerted by a GPS monitoring company regarding a 48-year-old female who had tampered with her court-ordered ankle monitor. Officers located the individual and found the device repositioned to the bridge of her foot instead of the ankle, where it is required. She was arrested and charged with Fail to Comply with Release Order and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation. During transport to the station, she managed to remove the monitor entirely. Due to a medical issue, she was taken to hospital and subsequently released from custody with a future court date. Incident # ST25019575

Threats / Mischief
Police responded Friday morning to a disturbance in the city’s north end, stemming from a dispute over alleged dumped property. Following the investigation, both involved parties were charged. A 37-year-old male was arrested for mischief related to vehicle damage and for uttering threats to cause bodily harm. A 58-year-old male was charged with assault in connection to the same incident. Warrant Arrest
A 27-year-old male voluntarily turned himself in Friday morning on a first instance warrant for three counts of Sexual Assault and three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation. He was processed and released with a future court date. Incident # ST25019569

Encampment Clean-Up
On Friday, front-line officers, Community Response Unit Special Constables, and representatives from Board of Works and Street Outreach conducted a large-scale clean-up in the downtown core. The effort targeted accumulated property and garbage resulting from homeless encampments. Impacted individuals continue to be offered support services through CRU and Street Outreach to assist with housing and other essential needs. Incident # ST25019568

Impaired Driving x 2
A vigilant citizen contacted police Friday morning about a disoriented female parked on a city street who refused assistance. Officers found the 75-year-old woman in the driver’s seat and observed signs of impairment. She was arrested and provided breath samples registering more than twice the legal limit. She was charged with Impaired Operation and with having a blood alcohol concentration equal to or greater than 80. She was released with a future court date. Incident # ST25019597

Just after midnight on Saturday, police were called by a concerned citizen reporting a suspected impaired driver. The individual was part of a group denied service at a local bar due to intoxication. After leaving, one patron was seen entering the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Police located the vehicle nearby and administered a roadside breath test, which the driver failed. A 24-year-old female was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80+. She was released with a future court date. Incident # ST25019615

Assault
A 15-year-old was arrested and charged Friday night for assaulting an 18-year-old. The youth, along with two unidentified accomplices, punched the victim multiple times until he fell, then continued the assault by kicking him. The victim did not suffer serious injuries. The accused was released to a parent with a future court date. The investigation is ongoing to identify the remaining suspects. Incident # ST25019608

Assist London Police Service – Forcible Confinement and Criminal Harassment
Late Friday night, London Police Service requested assistance with a welfare check involving two individuals. Shortly after midnight, officers located one of the parties in the city’s south end and determined that the individual had been victimized earlier that evening in London. The victim was transported to the station, where LPS continued their investigation. As a result, a 35-year-old male was charged with Forcible Confinement and Criminal Harassment. He was later located, arrested without incident, and turned over to LPS. Incident # ST25019611
