Vehicle Entry

Sometime between Wednesday evening and Friday morning, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle that was parked at a residence in the southeast end of the City. The suspect stole several keys and $8.00 in loose change. ^15071

Assault with a Weapon

Officers are investigating after a local female reported being pepper sprayed by a male in the downtown core on Friday morning. The female did not sustain serious injury. Encampment Clean-Up

Police and City employees attended the area of Viktor Dr in response to reports that a new encampment was being constructed. No persons were present however; evidence of an encampment was observed. The City will be working on the clean-up over the course of the weekend. ^15079

Break and Enter

On Friday morning, police were called to a business in the Industrial zone for reports that a female had broken into a trailer stored on the property. The female was observed leaving the trailer and fleeing into an undeveloped area. Warrant Arrest x 2

On Friday morning a 65 year old St Thomas male turned himself into police. The male was wanted on a first instance warrant for Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance following a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred last week. The male was processed and later released with a future court date. ^15082

Later on Friday afternoon officers on general patrol responded to a call for service in the north end of the City. A query of the involved parties revealed that a 42 year old male was wanted on a first instance warrant for Fail to Comply with Probation. The male was arrested without incident and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released on an Appearance Notice. ^15098

Mischief

At approximately 10:40pm police were called to a parking lot in the downtown core for reports of four youths smashing the window of a vehicle. The youths fled the area and were last observed on Metcalfe St riding scooters. The owner of the vehicle was notified and confirmed nothing was taken from the vehicle. Theft of Bicycle x 2

A St. Thomas resident called police on Friday to report the theft of a blue and white Telluride mountain bike from their central St. Thomas property. The theft is believed to have occurred earlier in the month. At approximately 3:30pm on Friday, a suspect was captured on video stealing a bicycle from a St. Thomas business. The bicycle is a GT Slammer BMX.
