Sexual Assault
On the morning of May 29, 2025, a 20 year old St Thomas male was arrested and charged with sexual assault stemming from an incident reported on May 22, 2025. The male was later released from custody on an Undertaking with conditions. ST25008578
Theft Under $5000
In the afternoon of May 29, 2025, a 42 year old St Thomas male of no fixed address was arrested for Theft Under $5000 after stealing items from a downtown retail store. The male was later released on an Undertaking. ST25008991
Mischief Under $5000
St Thomas Police attended to a west end church regarding a report of damage to a window where it appeared suspects had tried to remove a copper capping however were unsuccessful. Intimate Partner Violence – Assault
In the afternoon of May 29, 2025, a 29 year old St Thomas resident was charged with assaulting their partner following an investigation. The male was arrested and held for court and later released on a court order. ST25009003
Theft Under $5000
St Thomas Police are currently investigating a theft that occurred overnight on May 23, 2025. Through investigation it was learned that an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on Rosebery Place was entered and taken were various personal items. Theft Under $5000
On the evening of May 29, 2025, St Thomas Police attended a downtown retail business regarding the theft of property valued at approximately $100. The theft was captured on CCTV and is under investigation. ST25009019
Fraud Over $5000
On the evening of May 29, 2025, two St Thomas residents were contacted by a male suspect who identified himself as a Scotiabank employee. The male convinced the two victims that he needed to collect their bank cards and was sending a courier to pick them up. Later that evening a male attended and picked up the cards which were used to make purchases totalling approximately $15,000 CAD. The incident is currently under investigation.
