Intimate Partner Violence Arrest – ST25011623

A 26-year-old male was arrested following a physical altercation involving his girlfriend and her father. He faces two counts of assault and two counts of breaching probation. The male is currently on probation for prior assaults involving the same victim. He was held for court and remanded into custody.

Shoplifting Incidents – ST25011643 / ST25011658 / ST25011666

A business in the 1000 block of Talbot Street reported a shoplifting incident late Friday morning resulting in a loss of over $300. Police are awaiting surveillance footage to assist the investigation.

Additionally, another nearby business reported two separate thefts on Friday. In the first, a male and female allegedly stole approximately $140 worth of meat products. In the second, a female suspect took about $50 worth of frozen treats. Police will review video evidence from both incidents in an effort to identify the individuals involved.

Bail Condition Violation – ST25011692

Police received three notifications from a GPS monitoring company regarding a 41-year-old male on bail conditions requiring device tracking. Reports indicated the male was not charging his device properly. Investigation revealed that electricity had been shut off at his residence, prompting him to seek alternative charging arrangements. The male was warned regarding the violation and given further guidance to remain compliant.

R.I.D.E. Program Results – ST25011676

On Friday night, STPS officers conducted a R.I.D.E. program, stopping over 500 vehicles across the city. Three drivers underwent roadside breath tests, all of which resulted in a pass. The STPS extends its thanks to the community for continuing to prioritize safety and making responsible choices behind the wheel.
