On April 22nd 2023, a city resident called Police to report that their vehicle had been entered sometime overnight and that some property had been taken. ST23006612
Assist other Police agency
Later on April 22nd 2023, STPS Officers assisted a neighboring Police agency with locating a vehicle involved in an incident out of the city. The vehicle was located by STPS Officers and a male was subsequently placed under arrest. Custody of the male was transferred to the originating agency a short time later. ST23006635
Recovered stolen bicycle
Also on April 22nd 2023, Officers on community patrol located and recovered a bicycle which had been previously reported stolen. The bicycle was returned to its rightful owner. ST23006640
Fail to comply
On April 22nd 2023, Police were contacted in relation to a possible breach of release conditions. Following an investigation, Officers formulated reasonable grounds to arrest and charge a 19 yr Tillsonburg male. The male was transported to the STPS station where he processed and was held for court. ST23006645
Theft
In the evening of April 22nd 2023, Police were contacted by loss prevention at a local grocery store in relation to a shoplift in progress. Officers arrived on scene and placed the 39 year old female under arrest for theft. She was brought back to the STPS station where she was charged with 1 count of theft under $5000 and released with conditions. ST23006650
