Theft – Police attended a construction site in the north end of the city regarding the theft of 4-5 heavy duty extension cords and 2 thermometers stolen from the site sometime overnight. This matter is currently under investigation. ST26002437

Fire Investigation UPDATE – Police remain on the scene at Schreyer Drive for an active fire investigation.  The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office have been called in to assist with the investigation. St Thomas Police Forensic Investigations Unit will be on site to assist with gathering evidence. ST26002442

Theft – An employee from a retail establishment in the downtown core reported a male suspect had stolen a pair of shoes from the business.  There are no suspects at this time. Video was obtained and is under review. ST26002445

Warrant Arrest – A 50 year old female was arrested on strength of 3 warrants held by neighboring Police agencies. The female was released from custody on multiple Undertakings. ST26002461

Theft – A 42 year old male and a 30 year old female were arrested for theft after stealing alcohol and other items from a retail establishment in the City’s east end. The female was released from custody on an Undertaking. The male was held for a morning court appearance. ST26002479

Intimate Partner Violence and Stolen Vehicle – Police responded to a complaint of intimate partner violence between a male and a female.  As a result of the investigation, reasonable grounds were formed to arrest the male for being Unlawfully in a dwelling, Assault and Take Motor vehicle without consent. ST26002486

Robbery – Police attended an apartment complex in the south end of the City for the report of a robbery that had taken place several hours prior. The investigation was taken over by member of the Criminal Investigations Branch. ST26002491

Intimate Partner Violence – Police responded to a complaint of intimate partner violence between a male and a female.  As a result of the investigation, reasonable grounds were formed to arrest the male for one count of Assault. The male was released from custody on an Undertaking. ST26002496
