Media Release – August 30, 2025

On the evening of August 29, 2025, a 21 year old London resident was arrested and charged with Break and Enter x2 as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000. These charges stemmed from the investigation into two businesses that were broken into and entered in the early hours of August 29. The accused was later released on an Undertaking. Vehicle Entry/Fraud – On August 29, 2025, the St Thomas Police received a report of the vehicle that had been entered at an address on the northwest side of the city. Numerous items were stolen including the victim’s debit card which was later used at two businesses. This incident is currently under investigation. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables. ST25015517

Threats/Assault Police – In the late morning of August 29, 2025, a 40 year old female was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats and Assaulting a Peace officer after police were called to a downtown building. The female was later released on an Undertaking with a future court date. ST25015527

Theft – In the afternoon of August 29, 2025, St Thomas Police attended to a downtown business regarding the theft of food items. An investigation was conducted and as a result a 63 year old male has been arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 and released on an Appearance Notice. ST25015552

Theft – On the evening of August 29, 2025, the St Thomas Police received a report of a vehicle entry at an address on the northwest side of the city. The vehicle was left unlocked and a set of keys was stolen. This incident is currently under investigation. ST25015561

Warrants – In the early hours of August 30, 2025, the London Police Service arrested a 54 year old female who was wanted on the strength of an outstanding STPS bench warrant. The female was later released on an Undertaking with future court date. ST25015582

Theft – On August 30, 2025, the St Thomas Police received a report that a vehicle was entered at an address in the south end of the city. A purse was stolen that contained identification and financial cards.  This incident is currently under investigation. ST25015584
