Warrant Arrests:
On the morning of Friday the 5th of November officers attended a local business and arrested a male on outstanding charges related to intimate partner violence from the previous evening for mischief and assault (ST25022082). The 59-year-old male was brought to the station and later released on conditions with a future court date. Incident ST25022105.
The same 59-year-old male had a bench warrant held by the London Police Service for disqualified driving – and London Police Service sent a copy of the warrant and release documents to us. The male was arrested and released for London PS. Incident ST25022109
On Friday afternoon we were contacted by the Hamilton Police Service regarding a 46-year-old male in their custody who was wanted by our service on a bench warrant for theft and mischief (ST24020139) – an undertaking and conditions was sent to Hamilton Police Service. Incident ST25022107
On Friday night officers working on Project Home Safe- a month long project related to impaired driving – were dispatch to the downtown core regarding a possible impaired driver in a white pickup truck that had left a minor collision. The vehicle was located and the 54-year-old male driver performed poorly on roadside sobriety tests and was arrested for impaired operation. The male was transported to the station where he then performed poorly on a Drug Recognition Evaluation. The male was later released – charged impaired operation and several offences under the highway traffic act. Incident ST25022133.
