WARRANT ARRESTS

Officers on Community Patrol attended a business in the downtown area yesterday morning after receiving a complaint of an unwanted person inside.  A 31 year old St. Thomas resident was located and it was learned that they were wanted on a warrant from Aylmer Police Service.  The person was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  At the same location a 43 year old St. Thomas resident was located and they were wanted on St. Thomas Police warrants.  They were arrested without incident and transported to the Police Station for processing.  Both individuals appeared in court and were released with a future court date.

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident turned themselves into Police yesterday morning, as they were wanted on a warrant.  They were arrested without incident and held for a court appearance.  They were remanded into custody.

MISCHIEF

Yesterday morning Officers on Community Patrol were called to a residence in the cities north end after receiving a call about a broken window at the home.  A 16 year old St. Thomas youth was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. They were charged with mischief under $5,000.  They appeared in court and were remanded into custody.

MISCHIEF/THEFT

Officers on Community Patrol were called by the Fire Department to an abandoned residence in the cities downtown yesterday afternoon in regards to a gas leak.  A strong odor of gas had been detected and nearby residents were evacuated for safety.  The investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.  ST23007917

BIKE THEFT

Officers on Community Patrol attended a Southwick Street residence after the homeowner reported their bicycle stolen.  It was stolen sometime over night of May 9th.  The bike is described as a Blue/Silver Roadmaster Mountain bike.  Value approximately $300.  ST23007930

BIKE RECOVERED

Officers on Community Patrol attended the area of Kains Street and located an abandoned bicycle last night.  The bicycle is a red CCM.  ST23006964

MISCHIEF/ASSAULT

Officers on Community Patrol attended an address in the cities north end yesterday for a neighbour dispute.  A 37 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested without incident for assault and mischief.  The accused was transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  They were later released with a future court date.  The victim did not require medical attention.  ST23007952.
