DOMESTIC DISPUTE

On January 11th Officers on Community Patrol were called to an apartment on Talbot Street in regards to a domestic disturbance.  A 27 year old St. Thomas woman was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  She was charged with Assault – spousal and breaching her released order stemming from previous domestic related charges.  It was learned that she had an outstanding Bench warrant for missing court related to five previous occurrences.  She was held for court and remanded into custody.

BREAK & ENTER

A business owner on Progress Drive reported to Police that the locked compound on his property was broken into on January 3rd.  Unknown suspect cut the lock to the compound and entered a trailer inside.  Nothing was taken.  ST23000583.

COUNTERFEIT MONEY

On January 11th in the evening hours Officers on Community  Patrol attended a variety store after the store employee called Police to report that someone had tried to use a counterfeit bill to purchase items.  A 37 year old male was located in the store and denied knowing the bill was counterfeit and he provided Police with a false name.  The male was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  More counterfeit money was located in his wallet.  The male was charged with Using counterfeit money, possessing counterfeit money, possession of stolen property and obstruct police – false name.  He was later released with a future court date.  ST23000554
