Mischief and Utter Threats:

On Saturday the 28th of March we were called to the downtown core for a report of two males in a physical altercation. On arrival it was learned that a male suspect had attended, started an unprovoked altercation, threatened staff members and then broke a window on a staff members’ vehicle. The male was identified from security video and a warrant is being sought for the 24-year-old suspect for mischief and utter threats. Incident ST26005223

Shoplift:

On Saturday afternoon we were called to an east end business regarding a shoplifting incident from the 25th of March where a male and female stole merchandise from the store.  Security video was reviewed and warrants are being sought for a 35-year-old female and a 45-year-old male, each charged with theft under $5000.00. Warrant Arrests:

On Saturday afternoon officers on general patrol spotted a female party that they were aware of grounds to arrest for the theft of wallet reported earlier in the week (ST26005141). The 33-year-old female was arrested for theft under $5000.00 and later released on conditions. Incident ST26005247.

On Saturday afternoon we were contacted by members of the OPP who currently had a male party in custody on the strength of a warrant held by our service for uttering threats (ST20017289). The 35-year-old male was arrested by our officers and transported to the station to be held for weekend video court. Incident ST26005262.

On Saturday night officers on general patrol spotted a female party that they were aware of being wanted on a warrant held by service for theft (ST25016143). The 33-year-old female was arrested for on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date. Incident ST26005286.

Assault:

On Saturday night we attended an apartment building in the south end for a neighbour dispute that turned physical. It was learned that one neighbour had struck the other in the face during an argument. A 64-year-old male was arrested, charged with assault, and later released on conditions. Incident ST26005264.

Shoplift/Warrants:

On Saturday night we attended an east end business for reports of a shoplifter leaving the store without paying for $300.00 worth of merchandise. The 30-year-old male suspect was located nearby and arrested for theft under $5000.00. It was further learned the male had an outstanding bench warrant related to six previous charges. The male was held for weekend video court for the shoplifting and warrant. Incidents ST26005277/ ST26005280.
