Break and Enter:

On Friday the 27th of March 2026 officers were called to a residence when the homeowner returned and found an unknown female inside their covered porch. The female left before police arrival but was later located and arrested for break and enter. Search incident to arrest the 46-year-old female had several pieces of mail and documents belonging to other citizens on her person. The female was later released on conditions charged break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and fail to comply with probation. Incident ST26005160

Intimate partner violence

On Friday a female resident attended the station to report a historical assault by her male partner. Information was gathered and grounds were formed. The 44-year-old male party was later arrested and later released on conditions, charged with one count of spousal assault. Incident ST26005166.

Warrant Arrest:

On Friday officers arrested a male party for a historic incident of voyeurism, investigated by members of the Criminal Investigation branch (ST26004185). The 78-year-old male party was later released on conditions, charged with Voyeurism. Incident ST26005168.

Shoplift:

On Friday afternoon we were called to an east end business regarding a male that had stolen merchandise from the store and left on a bicycle. The male was described as wearing a light brown jacket and having long black shoe laces on his shoes. Video has been obtained and the matter is under investigation. Incident ST26005169.

Fraud:

On Friday we received a call from a local resident who reported attempting to purchase concert tickets on Facebook Marketplace and is now out $750.00 for an apparent fraud. The investigation has been forwarded to the criminal investigations branch. Incident ST26005187.

Vehicle Entry/Theft:

On Friday night we were notified by a local homeowner that their unlocked vehicle had been entered and a black iPhone had been stolen. Video canvassing is being conducted and the matter is under investigation. Incident ST26005196.

Bail Violations:

On Friday night we were notified by the monitoring company for an offenders’ GPS monitor that the male party had breached his bail conditions by attending with a set radius if a specific address related to his previous offences. The 81-year-old male was arrested and held for weekend video court. Incident ST26005201.

Intimate Partner Assault:

On Friday night we were called to a south-end residence related to an assault. Officers learned that a male party had assaulted his fiancé and then damaged property in the home. The 24-year-old male was arrested, charged with assault and mischief, and held for weekend video court. Incident ST26005208.

Mischief

On Friday night we were called to a downtown business for reports of a broken glass door. Officers attended and located the damage. Video has been obtained from downtown CCTV cameras and the matter is under investigation. Incident ST26005211.

Bail Violations:

On Friday night we received information that a male party, currently on conditions related to a sexual assault and assault investigation, had attended the address of the victim. Statements were taken and a warrant application has been made for the 22-year-old male, charged failure to comply with release order. Incident ST26005216.
