Bicycle Stolen from Outside Local Retail Store
Police are investigating after a local man reported his bicycle taken from outside a local retail store. The man reported the theft of his Red Norco Mountain Bike, which had been locked and the seat removed. A male suspect is seen on video stealing the bike. Anyone with information is asked to contact St. Thomas Police.
London Police Arrest Man wanted in St. Thomas
Shortly before 7pm on Saturday night London Police Contacted the St. Thomas Police after arresting a 29 year old man. The male wanted on St. Thomas warrants and was later released with a future court date.
Impaired Driver Arrested
St. Thomas Police responded to Flora Street and Barwick Street around 2:30am early Sunday to reports of truck colliding with several parked vehicles. Officers located the vehicle in question, disabled, on the front lawn of a nearby residence. A 23 year old St. Thomas man was located with the vehicle and found to be impaired. The male was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Conveyance. The male was brought to STPS where he provided samples of his breath resulting in readings over twice the legal limit. The male now faces charges of Impaired Operation, Operating a conveyance in excess of 80mgs and Failing to Remain at the scene of a collision. The male was later released with a future court date.
