Intimate Partner Violence
St. Thomas Police attended a North end residence for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival a 48-year-old St. Thomas resident reported that their partner, a 33-year-old St. Thomas resident, had left the home on foot prior to police arrival. After significant efforts were made to locate the individual, they were located hiding in the attic of the home. The 48-year-old was arrested for obstruct, and later released unconditionally once the other party involved was in custody. The 33-year-old, hiding in the attic was arrested for 2 counts of spousal assault, 2 counts of failure to comply with undertaking, and Fail to Comply with probation. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and held for a court appearance. ST26001356
St. Thomas Police attended a north end residence for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that a 40-year-old St. Thomas resident had a physical altercation on the 21st of January with a 46-year-old domestic partner, also from St. Thomas. As a result, the 40-year-old was arrested for Spousal Assault, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon, and Fail to Comply with Probation order. Break and Enter
St. Thomas Police attended a Commercial Alarm for a local pharmacy. Upon police arrival, damage to a door was observed, and a window was left open, that was previously secure. Police are continuing with the investigation. ST26001372

Warrant Arrest
St. Thomas Police attended a residential building in the downtown area. The complainant reported an individual was inside the building that was not supposed to be. Police located a 38-year-old St. Thomas resident that was currently wanted by STPS for an unrelated matter. The individual was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST2601376
Impaired
A 41-year-old was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired after being involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision in the city’s South west side. While speaking with the driver, the attending officer had reasonable suspicion to believe the driver had consumed alcohol. An approved roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “Fail”. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for further testing, processing, and later released with a future court date. ST26001381
