St. Thomas, ON – Saturday October 14th 2023
On Thursday October 12th 2023, the St. Thomas Police Service hosted a Four Counties Traffic Initiative. Traffic Specialists from St. Thomas, Aylmer, Woodstock, London and Strathroy-Caradoc Police Services attended the city for a day of thorough traffic monitoring.
The traffic initiative is hosted around different communities within the four counties to address road safety. Traffic monitoring was done around the city with a focus on commercial motor vehicles.
As a result:
39 traffic related charges laid
1 VIP impoundment (plates seized)
1 CMV put out of service and plates seized
4 Warnings issued in relation to Dangerous goods
