A call for service regarding vehicle entries on the north side of the city has led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle and a developing investigation, as additional incidents continue to be reported.
Early this morning, while officers were responding to reports of a suspicious person attempting to enter vehicles within a housing complex on the north side of the city, a vehicle that had been reported stolen to the Middlesex OPP on Tuesday was located. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs and personal property belonging to an individual from London. The vehicle owner and Middlesex OPP were notified. Officers spoke with several residents in the area to inform them of the entries. ST26000702
This afternoon, police received the report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Lakeview Circle. Through continued investigation, officers have identified the suspect connected to these incidents. The accused was located following a single vehicle collision on Highbury Avenue, where the London Police Service responded. The individual was in the vehicle that had been reported stolen from Lakeview Circle and the car had a large amount of property, related to the reported vehicle entries.
Public Appeal for Information
Several additional vehicle entries have now been reported to police, and investigators are appealing to the public for assistance.
Residents of the areas below are asked to check their vehicles for signs of entry or theft, report any incidents to police, review doorbell cameras, security cameras, or other surveillance footage:

Police are particularly requesting video from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today.
Residents reviewing footage are asked to watch for an individual matching the following description:
Male
Approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall with a thin build
Wearing all black clothing
Has a visible neck tattoo
