St. Thomas, ON – Saturday November 8th, 2025
The St. Thomas Police Service (STPS) wraps up Crime Prevention Week 2025, a province-wide initiative from November 2nd – 8th focused on promoting safety, awareness, and community collaboration.
This week allowed us to highlight how our police service while collaborating with the residents of St. Thomas, really does make a difference. From property and cybercrime prevention to youth engagement, road safety, and fostering inclusion, the message is clear: safety is a shared responsibility.
STPS thanks all residents, schools, community groups, and partners for participating and supporting initiatives like:
- Youth programs including Kids & Cops, Boredom Busters, Cru & Sader, and the School Resource Officer program
- Property and auto theft prevention tips
- Cybercrime awareness and online safety programs
- Road and traffic safety initiatives
- The Community Inclusion Council and efforts to prevent hate and bias motivated crimes
The St. Thomas Police Service encourages residents to maintain vigilance, engage with local programs, and continue collaborating to create a safer and more inclusive St. Thomas year-round.
