St. Thomas, ON – Thursday June 12th 2025
A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after we were called to respond to the report of a person with a knife at a residence on McIntyre Street, just before noon on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, officers engaged with an individual who was breaching multiple conditions of a release order, including being present at a location and in contact with someone they are prohibited from communicating with.
When officers attempted to make an arrest, the individual became combative and threw a heavy object toward police. Despite continued resistance, officers successfully gained control and took the individual into custody without injury.

Three counts Failure to Comply with Release Order

One count Assault Peace Officer with a Weapon

One count Resist Arrest

One count Mischief under $5,000

One count Uttering threats to Cause Death
The individual was transported to police headquarters, where they were processed to attend court and were remanded into custody. ST25009935
