Break and Enter
St. Thomas Police respond to a Break and Enter in progress in the downtown core. A witness phoned 911 when they observed multiple people enter a downtown business through broken windows. Upon arrival 1 Suspect was still on scene. A 32-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged accordingly. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing and taken over to the courthouse. As a result of the investigation, a 2nd Suspect was identified and arrested. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing and released with a future court date. A 3rd Suspect has also been identified and a warrant is out for their arrest. Theft/Mischief
St. Thomas Police attended a north side business for a report of Mischief. Suspect/s had gained access to company vehicles parked inside the lot, and vandalized them. One vehicle had the catalytic converter stolen. CCTV footage is being reviewed and the incident is still under investigation. ST25015344
Mischief
St. Thomas Police were called to a south side residential area for slashed tires. The victim reports that this has occurred 6 times now. The incident is still under investigation. ST25015336
Theft
St. Thomas Police are investigating a theft from an establishment just north of the downtown area. Suspect/s broke into a locked shed that contained gardening equipment. Camera footage is being reviewed and the incident is still under investigation. ST25015353

Intimate Partner Violence
St. Thomas Police were called by a family member to report that a loved one had been assaulted. Police attended the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital to speak with the victim. As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old St. Thomas resident is charged and currently wanted for spousal assault. ST25015290
