Attempted Home Invasion
St. Thomas police are currently investigating an attempted home invasion that occurred at an address in an northeast neighbourhood, Wednesday evening.
Through investigation and review of available residential video surveillance, officers have learned that at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday February 19th 2025, a black SUV attended a residence on Riverbank Drive and two males exited the vehicle. The suspects entered the rear yard of a home and smashed the back patio door to gain entry.
The homeowner was present at the time and screamed at the sound of the glass breaking, causing the suspects to flee. The male suspects entered the black SUV they arrived in and left the scene.
No injuries were reported and nothing was taken from the home.
