Mischief
Police were called to an area in the downtown core for the report of a male in the area that had cut the wire on a light standard post. Incident under investigation. ST26012060
Intimate partner violence
Police were called to a dispute between a male and female who began to argue over shared property. During the argument, the male allegedly assaulted the female party. As a result, a 26-year-old male has been charged with one count of Assault – Spousal. The male was arrested and released on an Undertaking. ST26012078
RIDE Program leads to Impaired Driving Arrest
Police conducted a RIDE program within the City with approximately 150 vehicles being checked. Two roadside alcohol tests were administered along with one Standardized Field Sobriety Test. As a result of the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, an 18-year-old St. Thomas woman has been arrested and charged for Impaired Operation by Drug, as well as several other provincial offences under the Cannabis Control Act.
