Intimate Partner Violence Investigation

A 31 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested and charged following an intimate partner violence investigation. The investigation involving one victim known to the accused, revealed the incidents had occured between the summer of 2025 and May 2026.

Charged with:

• Six Counts of Assault with a Weapon
• Four Counts of Assault
• Two Counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm (Choking)
• Two Counts of Sexual Assault

The 31 year old was arrested on Tuesday and transported to police headquarters to be processed for court. He was later released by the courts on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26009733

Break and Enter Investigation

Several tools have been reported stolen from a Sea-Can on the property of a northside business. On Tuesday, officers were called to the area after employees arriving to work noticed damage and pry marks on the doors. The Sea-Can was secured at the end of the business day Monday. This remains under investigation. ST26010213

Warrant Arrests 

A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released with a future date to attend court. ST26010185

A 33 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Tuesday, officers located the individual who had been charged on Monday following a shoplifting investigation. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26010247

A 17 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday evening, while dealing with the individual on an unrelated call for service, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant held by the London Police Service. The 17 year old was transported to police headquarters and processed on behalf of the LPS. ST26010256

Mischief

St. Thomas police are investigating the report of damage caused to a vehicle parked on the northside of the city. On Tuesday, officers were called to the area after the owner of the vehicle returned to find two tires had been slashed. CCTV in the area is being reviewed. ST260010173

Theft

An e-bike, valued at approximately $1,100 has been reported stolen from an address on East Street. On Tuesday, the owner of the bike contacted police to report the theft that occurred at some point after April 14th. This remains under investigation. ST26010207
