Sexual Assault
A 48 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation. On Thursday, officers located the accused who has been charged with Sexual Exploitation and two counts of Sexual Assault. The 48 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST26009253
Collision Involving Cyclist
Just before 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon officers attended an address on Talbot Street for the report of a collision involving a car and a cyclist. Upon arrival officers learned the cyclist was hit by the car as it was exiting a retail plaza. The cyclist was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Warrant Arrests
A 51 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Thursday night, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for charges stemming from a search warrant in October. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26009301
A 33 year old St. Thomas man wanted by our service for Failure to Comply with Release Order, has been arrested. Last night, while on an unrelated call for service officers located the individual who had been charged last week. He was transported to police headquarters and held for court. ST26009309/8879
Bail Violation
A 44 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. The accused, currently bound by a court ordered curfew to remain indoors between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. was located by officers on community patrol this morning at approximately 1:49 a.m. A search incident to arrest found the individual to be in possession of break and enter tools and a quantity of suspected Methamphetamine. Charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order and Possession of a Schedule I Substance, he was transported to police headquarters and held for court. ST26009310
Theft
Approximately $1,000 of clothing has been reported stolen a retail store in the 1063 Talbot Street plaza. On Thursday evening, police were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown women failing to pay for the clothing. Images of the suspects were provided to police. An e-bike has been reported stolen from a Talbot Street address. On Thursday, the owner of the bike contacted police to report that while at a medical appointment their bike had been stolen. CCTV is available and being reviewed. ST26009266
A gaming system, valued at $800 has been reported stolen. On Thursday, officers were called to investigate the report of the theft that is believed to have occurred on May 11th. This remains under investigation. ST26009303
Trespass to Property
A 37 year old St. Thomas man has been issued a Provincial Offence Notice after police were called to a grocery store on Talbot Street, Thursday afternoon. The accused has been trespassed from the address. ST26009279
