Thefts
St. Thomas Police attended an east end retail complex for a theft. Loss Prevention reported capturing an individual on camera, stealing a variety of products and leaving in a vehicle. Video is being reviewed, and a license plate was obtained. The incident is still under investigation. ST26006636
St. Thomas Police were called to a west end residential area for a theft of an e-bike. The victim had the e-bike plugged in to charge in the common area of the building, when an unknown person overnight stole it. The incident is still under investigation. ST26006666
Warrant Arrest
A 32-year-old St. Thomas resident was located and arrested on outstanding STPS warrant for Assault with a Weapon. The incident was in March of this year. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST26006675, ST26003572
Fail to Comply
St. Thomas Police Service attended an east end retail complex for an individual asleep in the driver’s seat. Upon arrival Police spoke to the driver. The individual explained that they were waiting for others to come out of the store. While on scene, two individuals returned to the vehicle. A 57-year-old Rodney resident, and a 36-year-old West Lorne resident. Being together was a violation of an undertaking. The other was in violation of a Release Order and a Probation order. Both were arrested and charged accordingly. The individuals were transported to Police Headquarters for processing. Resist Arrest
St. Thomas Police were called to a north side residential building for a weapons call. The complainant reported observing an altercation in the hallway between to individuals, and one had a large knife. The individual fled on foot prior to Police arrival, but was located nearby. A 34-year-old St. Thomas resident was apprehended and taken to hospital for an assessment, but will face a charge of Resist Peace Officer upon release. ST26006715
