Recovered Stolen Vehicle
A vehicle reported stolen out of London has been recovered in St. Thomas. On Thursday March 21st 2024, officers were called to an address on Edward Street to investigate the report of a suspicious vehicle. Through investigation, police learned the vehicle had been reported stolen on March 7th from an address in London. LPS were notified and the vehicle was towed. ST24004451
Warrant Arrests
A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday March 21st 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Failure to Comply with Undertaking stemming from an incident last week. The 42 year old was processed and released with a future court date. ST24004455
A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday March 21st 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident in June of 2023. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24004461
Failure to Comply
A 21 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday March 21st 2024, officers were called to a west end address to move along unwanted parties. Upon arrival, police located the 21 year old known to them to be on conditions to not associate with the individual they were with. As a result, the St. Thomas resident was charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order. The 21 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24004485
A 37 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday March 21st 2024, officers were alerted by the automatic license plate recognition system (ALRP) of a vehicle bearing plates not matching the description of the vehicle they are registered to. A traffic stop was initiated and as a result, police learned the passenger of the vehicle was on conditions to not associate or communicate with the driver. As a result, the 37 year was arrested and charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order, transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. - Always get a second opinion from family or friends regarding the situation
- No employer will reach out to you through apps like Whats App or Telegram
- No employer will ever pay you in crypto currency
- No employer will ask you to invest your own money
- Use the Canadian Anti- Fraud Centre as a resource to familiarize yourself with current scams and additional ways to protect yourself.
