Warrant Arrests
A 44 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday February 13th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for several weapon offences and assaulting as peace officer, stemming from an incident on February 11th 2024. The St. Thomas resident was transported to police headquarters where they processed on the charges. As the result of a court appearance, the 44 year old was remanded into custody. ST24002277
A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday February 13th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. The 28 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24002280
Failure to stop
While conducting traffic enforcement on Tuesday February 13th 2024 , officers attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding when it accelerated and fled the area. The vehicle is described as a silver Nissan with a lone occupant. Neighbouring police services were notified of the vehicle in question. ST24002291
Fraud investigation
45 year old Trevor Bowron and 39 year old Robert Beaton, both of St. Thomas are currently wanted by police. Both parties have been charged by way of warrant for Fraud under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime after being identified as the individuals responsible in a fraud investigation that began in December of 2023 after a residential break and enter was reported to police.
