Warrant Arrests
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday February 14th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Assault, Arson, Carry Firearm or Weapon and Failure to Comply with Undertaking stemming from an investigation in November of 2023. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed on the charges, transferred to the Elgin County Courthouse and released by the courts with a future court date. A 25 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday February 14th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Dangerous Operation, stemming from an incident in December of 2023. A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday February 14th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible for a shoplifting incident at a retail store on Talbot Street in January. The 39 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed on the charges and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24002360
A 45 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by police has been arrested. On Wednesday February 14th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Fraud under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime after being identified as one of the individuals responsible in a fraud investigation that began in December of 2023. A 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday February 14th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for 2 counts of Fraud and 2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime after being identified as the person responsible in an ongoing fraud investigation that began in September of 2023.
