Assault with a weapon, failure to comply
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday October 16th 2023, just before 1 p.m. St. Thomas police were called to a disturbance at a southside address. Upon arrival, it was learned a neighbour dispute had escalated when one of the involved parties threw coffee on their neighbour. As a result, the 34 year old was arrested and charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with conditions and a future court date. ST23018351
At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday October 16th, STPS were called back to the same southside address to investigate the report of a dispute between the same individuals. Upon arrival, police learned of a verbal altercation between the accused and the victim had occurred. As a result, the 34 year old is additionally charged with Failure to Comply. ST23018381
Arrested
A 22 year old London resident has been arrested. On Monday October 16th 2023, the 22 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on outstanding warrants stemming from incidents in 2020 and 2021. The London resident was processed and released with a future court date. ST23018355
A 41 year old London resident has been arrested. On Monday October 16th 2023, St. Thomas police were notified by London police that they had the 41 year old in custody on the strength of STPS warrants. The individual was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where they were processed on the charges of:
- Two counts Breach of Probation
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Two counts Theft under $5,000
- Two counts Failure to Comply with Release Order
The 41 year old was held for court and remanded into custody. ST23018359
Theft
Approximately $80 worth of cosmetic nail kits have been reported stolen. On Monday October 16th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate the theft. Upon arrival it as learned that an unknown person entered the store, selected the items and left the store making no attempt to pay. Police are looking to identify the individual seen here:

Theft
$111 worth of gas has been reported stolen. On Monday October 16th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a local gas station to investigate the theft. Police learned that just after 6 p.m. an unknown person pumped $111 worth of gas into a black dodge pick up truck with the license plates removed. The driver failed to pay the gas and left the area.
