St. Thomas Police Service media release for Wednesday October 18th, 2023

On the 17th day of October 2023 St. Thomas Police Service arrested a 49 year old St. Thomas man on an outstanding warrant.  The male was processed and released on a future court date. ST23018410.

On the 17th day of October 2023 St. Thomas Police Service arrested a 34 year old St. Thomas man who was wanted for breaching his terms of release.  The male turned himself into police where he was held for court and later released by the courts.  ST23018413.

St. Thomas Police took a report of a vehicle entry on Elm Street.  The vehicle was left unlocked and items were removed sometime overnight.  ST23018414.

On the 17th day of October 2023 Elgin County OPP notified our service that they had a 44 year old London man in custody on the strength of our arrest warrant.  The male was transported to STPS and released on a future court date.  ST23018428.

On the 17th day of October 2023 officers at the Elgin County Court House arrested a 34 year old St. Thomas woman on an outstanding warrant.  The female was processed and released on a future court date.  ST23018434.

On the 17th day of October 2023 St. Thomas Police received a complaint from a local youth sports organization that their email had been hacked and funds appear to have been diverted to another recipient.   This matter is still under investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS.  ST23018430.

On the 17th day of October 2023 a St. Thomas youth was arrest for an assault on another youth known to them.  The youth was processed and released on a future court date.  ST23018447.
