Additional charges 

30 year old Kali Robinson – Bobier has been arrested. On Thursday October 12th 2023, St. Thomas police arrested Robinson – Bobier after she was identified as the person responsible for several incidents of fraud reported to police by numerous victims who are apart of an ongoing investigation.

As a result, Robinson – Bobier has been charged with:

  • 2 counts Failure to Comply with release order
  • 2 counts Fraud over $5,000
  • 3 counts Fraud under $5,000
  • 1 count Identity Theft
  • 1 count Possession of a Forged Document with Intent
  • 2 counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Robinson – Bobier was transported to police headquarters where she was held for a court appearance and was remanded into custody by the courts. ST23018133/8135

Recovered Stolen Property

Items previously reported stolen from a break and enter incident at Pinafore Park have been recovered. On Thursday October 12th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called by a residential property maintenance employee who had located several tools and property at a northside address. STPS attended the address and contacted staff at Parks and Recreation who confirmed the items to be theirs. ST23018115

Fraud

St. Thomas Police are currently investigation a transportation fraud. On Thursday October 12th 2023, STPS entered into an investigation after receiving information from a social services agency in Guelph. It was reported that their agency account number had been used to process a payment for cab fare from St. Thomas to the Niagara region in September without their knowledge or permission. This remains under investigation. ST23018117

A fraudulent bank transaction has been reported police.  On Thursday October 12th 2023, the victim attended police headquarters to report that they were alerted by their bank after a transaction of nearly $3,000 was flagged. It is believed that a laptop had been compromised and access to banking information, obtained. This remains under investigation ST23018122

Theft

A scooter valued at $700 has been reported stolen. On Thursday October 12th 2023, police were called to investigate the theft that occurred from a southside neighbourhood between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. pm on October 10th. A photo of the scooter can be seen below. ST23018118

Criminal Harassment 

A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday October 12th 2023, the 40 year old was located and charged with one count Criminal Harassment after an ongoing investigation. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance ST23018127

Assault

A 62 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday October 12th 2023, St. Thomas police entered into an investigation after receiving information in relation to historical assault between two parties known to each other. Through investigation, police formed grounds to charge the 62 year old with one count Assault. The St. Thomas resident was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed on the charges and held for a morning court appearance. ST23018144

Assault with a weapon

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. On Thursday October 12th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a disturbance in a northside neighbourhood. Upon arrival, it was learned that the accused attended an area they had been trespassed from and an argument had escalated and turned physical. The victim sustained minor injuries after being assaulted with a wired rake. As a result, the 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon and one count Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited. ST23018149
