Stolen rental, recovered

On Wednesday August 3rd 2023, officers on community patrol located a grey Ford F-150 truck that had been reported stolen to police by a local car rental company. Police located the truck in a parking lot on the south side of the city. The truck was found unoccupied, with no damage and the keys were inside. The vehicle was towed and the car rental company notified. ST23013725/ST23013643

Gas theft

The St. Thomas police service are looking for help identifying the individual seen in these photos. The person seen here is responsible for the theft of $124.00 of gas from a gas station on Talbot Street on August 1st, 2023 at approximately 6:00pm. Wanted

A warrant is being requested for the arrest of a 43 year old St. Thomas resident after police were called to investigate a theft of over $1,900 of merchandise and groceries from a local retail store.  On Wednesday August 2nd 2023, STPS were called by store employees who reported the incident. A review of the in store CCTV assisted police in identifying the suspect. As a result, a 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count Theft under $5,000 and one count Failure to Comply with Probation Order. ST23013702
