Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested and charged after an investigation leads to multiple child pornography charges.
On Thursday July 13th 2023, the St. Thomas Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) entered into an investigation and as a result:
A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with:
- One count Make Arrangement to Commit Offences Against Children
- One count Sexual Interference
- One count Invitation to Sexual Touching
- Accessing Child Pornography
A 44 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with:
- One count Make Arrangement to Commit Offences Against Children
- One count Invitation to Sexual Touching
- One count Make, Distribute and Possess Child Pornography
Both of the accused have been remanded into custody.
To protect the victims of this investigation, publication bans have been put in place.
