Arrested

A 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 20th, 2023 the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for one count Failure to Comply with Probation. The 43 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23012827

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 20th, 2023 the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service that was requested following an investigation that concluded earlier this week. The 42 year old was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23012873

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 20th, 2023 the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding probation warrant. The 32 year old was processed and held for court. ST23012904

A 20 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 20th, 2023 officers on community patrol located the individual known to be wanted by our service for one count Assault after an incident that occurred on July 16th. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking. ST20312924

Vehicle Entry

A 26 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after a quick response to a vehicle entry at a local grocery store. On Thursday July 20th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to downtown location to investigate the theft of a Nintendo DS game system from a vehicle. Upon arrival, police were able to identify the suspect who was then located a short distance away, playing the stolen game system. The 26 year old was arrested and charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 and released on an appearance notice. ST23012886

Theft

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 20th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a local retail store to investigate a theft that had occurred. Upon arrival, it was learned that an individual known to store staff had attended, shopped for various items totaling over $1,300 and left the store making no attempt to pay. The individual was met by loss prevention officers outside of the store where they were able to retrieve some but not all of the stolen merchandise. Officers on community patrol later located the individual at a downtown address. The 32 year old was arrested and charged and with one count Theft under $5,000 and transported to police headquarters where they were held for court. ST23012916
