Break and Enter – 2 people arrested
On Monday February 27, 2023 shortly after 6:30 AM St Thomas Police and OPP – Elgin were dispatched to a residential address on the south side of the city for a suspected break and enter in progress. Upon arrival, Police located two male parties inside the residence. They were ordered out of the residence and placed under arrest without incident and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.
During processing, several bags of drugs were located and include:
- 3.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine – value of $400
- 27.8 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine – value of $1100
- 10, 8mg tablets of hydromorphone – value of $200
As a result of this investigation, the accused parties are charged as follows:
36 year old, Bradley Martin: 1 count Break and Enter
38 year old, Christopher Gaudio: 1 count Break and Enter, 3 counts Possession of a Schedule I substance
Martin was later released with conditions.
Gaudio was remanded for a bail hearing.
