St. Thomas, ON – Tuesday July 29th 2025
The St. Thomas Police Service is proud to once again partner with Doug Tarry Homes and Geerlinks Home Hardware for the annual Back to School – School Supply Drive, an initiative dedicated to helping local elementary students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
This year’s drive will take place on Tuesday, August 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Walmart in St. Thomas (1063 Talbot Street) Members of the St. Thomas Police Service, along with volunteers from our community partners and our COPs program will be on-site collecting donations of new school supplies for children in need across St. Thomas.
Every pencil, notebook, and backpack collected helps to remove barriers to learning and ensures students head back to class confident and prepared.
“This initiative is about more than just supplies, it’s about showing our youth that their community cares,” says Corporate Communications Coordinator, Samantha Wakefield. “Together, we can give every child a stronger start to the school year.”
We invite everyone in the community to stop by, donate what they can, and help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of local students.
