WARRANTS
On Friday December 30, 2022 a 43 year old male attended the station and turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation and theft under $5000.00. He was processed and released with a future court date.
On Friday December 30, 2022 the St. Thomas Police arrested a 32 year old male on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation. He was processed and released with a future court date.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
On Friday December 30, 2022 in the early afternoon the St. Thomas Police were contacted about a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle and its male driver. The driver was administered an approved screening device and subsequently failed. The driver was arrested and transported to the station for further testing. It was determined that the driver was nearly 3 times over the legal limit. Subsequently the 55 year old male driver from St. Thomas was charged with operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He was later released with a future court date.
INDECENT ACT
On Friday December 30, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended a local recreation center regarding an indecent act. Police learned that an unknown male exposed himself to an employee. The male had left the area prior to police arrival. Security video is being reviewed to identity the suspect. If you have any information please contact the St. Thomas Police. *20895
MISCHIEF
On Friday December 30, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended Noble Lane in regards to a mischief. Police learned that sometime overnight on December 29, 2022 unknown person(s) slashed tires on two separate vehicles. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers. *20925
FAIL TO COMPLY
On December 30, 2022 while on another call for service, the St. Thomas Police discovered that a 32 year old male was breaching his court imposed curfew. As such the male was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order. He was released with a future court date.
ARSON
On December 31, 2022 in the early morning hours the St. Thomas Police were contacted by the St. Thomas Fire Department regarding a fire in an apartment in the north end of the city. Investigation revealed that the fire was intentionally set and subsequently a 51 year old female was charged with arson. She was released with a future court date.
