Thefts
Special Constables on patrol located a wallet in the downtown area. The owner was contacted, and was unaware it was missing, but stated it must have been stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Financial cards were outstanding, but locked by the bank. ST26017737
A wallet was stolen from a parked vehicle, just north of the downtown area. Items were recovered a short distance away, but a bank card remains outstanding. The complainant contacted their financial institution, and had the card locked, and replaced. ST26017803
Warrant Arrest
A suspect was identified in multiple vehicle entries on the south side of the city, resulting in a warrant for their arrest. A 40-year-old St. Thomas man was located and arrested. A search was conducted and a bank card belonging to one of the complainants was located. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST26017464, ST03017465, ST26017750.
Fail to Comply x 3
A 45-year-old St. Thomas male, currently charged with 2 commercial Break and Enters, has been additionally charged and arrested for 3 counts of Failing to Comply with a Release Order. In March of 2025, the accused was placed on Probation by the Ontario Court of Justice, with a condition to Keep the Peace and be of good behavior. On September 4th, 2026, the accused was released by the Ontario Court of Justice, on a Release Order with conditions to Remain in his residence daily from 9pm until 6am, and to not possess break and enter instruments. On September 14th, 2026 the accused was located breaching his curfew, and in possession of break and enter tools. The accused was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and held for a court appearance. ST26017752
Mischief
St. Thomas Police are investigating damage to a parked vehicle, on the city’s south side. The complainant reports that their vehicle has been repeatedly damaged, including slashed tires. The incident is still under investigation, while officer’s canvass for video. ST26017758
Fraud
A St. Thomas resident is out $3000 after receiving a phone in the mail. The individual was instructed by someone who identified themselves as a Telus employee, to return it for a better deal. The complainant was subsequently charged each month hundreds of dollars, totaling $3000. The incident is still under investigation. ST26017769
