STPS Media Release – Saturday, June 3rd, 2023.

St. Thomas Police officers attended a business on Edward Street regarding an overnight break and enter to a fenced-in compound. Suspects stole a chicken coup and a defective weed trimmer. Police later recovered the chicken coup and returned it to the business. Ref# ST23009441

St. Thomas Police officers attended a business located in the 1063 Talbot business park regarding a theft from a store. Through further investigation police determined that a male stole clothing and exited the store without paying. This is currently under investigation. Ref# ST23009461

St. Thomas Police officers are investigating an overnight incident where two males got into an argument in a residence on Locust Street. The argument turned physical and one male brandished a knife. One of the males and a female fled the area. No serious injuries were sustained due to the altercation. This is currently under investigation. Ref# ST23009509

St. Thomas Police officers continue to be present at a south east end residence where a firearm was discharged in a home. A firearm has been recovered by police and no one was injured as a result of the incident. There is no threat to public safety at this time. This is currently under investigation. Ref# ST23009522
