STPS Media Release- November 4th 2023

Mischief

On the 3rd of November 2023, the owner of a downtown bar contacted to police after an unruly patron caused damage to the businesses security cameras. As a result of the investigation, a 50 year old male has been charged with one count of mischief under $5000 dollars. (ST23019395)

Warrant

On the 3rd of November 2023, a 36 year old male wanted on an outstanding warrant turned himself into the St. Thomas Police Service. The male was arrested and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. (ST23019405)

Vehicle entry

On the 1st of November 2023, while parked overnight, a construction truck and trailer were entered by an unknown person. Several DeWalt batteries and a DeWalt leaf blower were taken from the vehicle and tools remain outstanding. This occurrence remains under investigation. (ST23019418)

Theft

On the 3rd of November 2023, a 27 year old female entered the down town Circle K, where she took a bag of beef jerky and left the store without paying. The female was known to police and was located a short distance away still in possession of the beef jerky. She was subsequently arrested and charged with theft under $5000. (ST23019446)

Assault causing bodily harm

In the early morning hours of November 4th 2023, a physical altercation ensued out front of a downtown bar. During the altercation, the victim suffered a serious facial injuries and was transported to hospital. As a result of the investigation, 36 year old Dennis Churchill is currently wanted for assault causing bodily harm.  (ST23019453)
