Assault
On March 13th 2024, STPS Officers attended a south end address for reports of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that a 31 yr old St. Thomas resident had assaulted a female known to him. The male was subsequently arrested and brought back to STPS station where he was processed and charged with 1 count of assault. The male was held for court and later released by the Courts. Warrant arrest
On March 13th 2024, a 31 year old St. Thomas resident turned themselves in on an outstanding warrant. They were processed and released on an Undertaking with conditions and a court date. ST24004007
Fail to comply
On March 13th 2024, a St. Thomas resident contacted STPS to report receiving unwanted messages from an individual who was on conditions not to communicate with them. Police initiated an investigation where charges are since been laid against a 42 yr old female. The female remains outstanding and a warrant is being sought. ST24004027
Assault/forcible confinement/Breach probation
On March 14th 2024, STPS received a 911 call from an individual in distress. Officers were able to locate the individual safe where further investigation revealed that someone known to them had assaulted them. This same individual was also on conditions not to communicate or be around them. As a result, the individual has been charged with assault, forcible confinement and 4 counts of failing to comply with probation. No injuries were reported. ST24004055
